INTERIOR STYLING: THE ADDITION OF DECORATIVE VASES

I have a confession. I am highly obsessed with incorporating beautiful objects into a room. One of those objects is decorative vases. Is anyone else obsessed with decorative vases? I understand that the more complex elements, such as flooring, interior walls (including the ceiling), and other components, such as light fixtures, are essential within a space. However, decorative accents should be in place to complement the more functional pieces. With various decorative accents throughout my home, one of the most used is decorative vases. I finally realized how many I had once I started preparing for an interior photoshoot.

There are many reasons why they are one of my favorite accessories for styling interior spaces. My interior rooms would be bland without these beauties because there is nothing like intricate details enhancing and contributing to the character, style, and appeal.

I have written several posts about decorative accents, such as Kimberly's Style: Incorporating Peacock Accents. After reading this post, it is understandable why I cannot get enough of incorporating unique and statement-making objects. Moreover, while relaxing at home, it does not matter which room I am in; a vase gives way to a stylish vibe. It is funny because I became more obsessed when I realized how easily they fit within any style. I prefer the larger sizes; they work better when placed by a chair, sofa, corner, or stand-alone to create a subtle focal point. It is a great way to establish interest. I have all sizes, shapes, colors, textures, finishes, and heights. Having a variety creates contrast when using more than one in a group. The bottom line is that decorative vases will always make a long-lasting impression.
