STAIRWAY INSPIRATION: CALMING & SERENE

It is wild how time is in speed mode. In other words, it is God's perfect time frame. That said, different aspects of interior design deal with time because there is constant change daily. Everything surrounds timing when it is time to apply changes to a room. However, it is always exciting and fun because I have another opportunity to speak on the many elements and principles of design. Besides, a room will never become boring, especially when continually restyled. Moreover, one space that I always enjoy is my tranquil, calm, and serene stairway, and I have yet to consider replacing the decorative objects.

When it came time to style the area, the focal point needed to join the upper and lower spaces cohesively, and it came down to one of my favorite objects, Buddha's head. I have always displayed these pieces because they are extensive, detailed, amazingly stylish, and efficiently cover a massive wall.

As a designer, I use the elements and principles of design as a blueprint for designing every space. When I create or style a room, I like to incorporate as many as possible because they are indispensable and valuable assets to a space. Again, my stairway is a mixture of elements that make the area open and inviting, along with timeless character, a subtle enhancement, and appeal. Furthermore, it reflects my authentic style.

Design Tip: Display decor you love to look at because it will never get boring.
