For some of us, summer started on Thursday, June 20, 2024, and lasted through Sunday, September 22, 2024. Yes, these were the summer months of 2024. During those hot, humid, and lazy days, the sun shone on days with powerful humidity, and rain, with occasional thunderstorms, slowly arrived on others. Still, despite the rain, once the sun peeked through the clouds, the beautiful effect of summertime was once again in place.

Even though my genuine love is for winter, I enjoy summer, too, primarily when I work on interior and exterior projects specific to the season. Moreover, I love the beauty God flourishes everywhere, which keeps my creative juices flowing. He knows what inspiration I need for every project.

Besides, I adore everything created by the most extraordinary architect, creator, and designer, God, who styled everything. He is the first and only designer of everything.

Although I have been on a hiatus, working on business and personal projects, my work has produced beautiful rooms with striking details that I will highlight in upcoming posts. I am excited because each post will tell a unique design story.

One project I worked on in the past couple of months was explicitly about the summer season. That said, just because fall has arrived does not mean you cannot celebrate the beauty of a summer's past. Besides, while summer has ended for some, it is about to start for others.

Yellow is the perfect summertime color because it is bright, cheerful, exciting, happy, stimulating, radiant, and vibrant.

Of course, my Christmas tree is still alive and thriving. It has over 180 hydrangeas, and the addition of blue makes it the perfect complementary accent color.
