CONSOLE TABLE STYLING: IT IS ABOUT PLACEMENT

When it comes to rearranging and styling a room, there is one asset that is a must and of high importance to the entire space. That important asset is placement. Whether dealing with furniture placement, lighting, or decorative pieces, their placement plays a significant role in the overall look, feel, and vibe. It is crucial for its aesthetic appeal, flow, and, of course, functionality.

Visually pleasing, maintaining balance, and being a cohesive complement are essential for proper placement. However, when dealing with decorative objects, mainly for this post, each piece needs alignment and placement that creates a rhythmic flow throughout the room. Creating visual appeal is everything, and placement is key to achieving balance, proportion, and scale in a room. Well-placed decorative objects can enhance and complement the focal point and, at times, become a focal point themselves.

While styling this console table, the placement of the large statue was necessary to incorporate a statement-making object with a finish that would leave a lasting impression. The books give way to a height for the gold piece, which is strikingly beautiful.
