INSPIRED INTERIORS: FEATURED DESIGNER KIMBERLY C. LYONS
/OMG, I love October, and I'm already missing it. Today, I say goodbye to my favorite month until next year!
It is a new day, and aside from waking up beyond blessed, I must first thank God. The most extraordinary designer, architect, and creator ever. At an early age, he gave me the desire to dream BIG. I took hold and held tight, and it became a creative outlet for pursuing my passion for interior design. I am awe-struck by the excitement of awakening each day and continuing to live out what has become a reality; I sometimes need someone to pinch me. And the bonus of having a gift to paint artistically on canvas and professionally within interior spaces, while styling them, is a triple blessing.
However, I am wildly excited, and my head is sitting high above the clouds for a different reason; today, I have some great news. Would you like to know what it is?
Okay, a new Interior Design Book called 'Inspired Interiors' hit the market on September 1st. It features Amazing Rooms Imagined and Decorated by the Nation's Leading Interior Designers. Who is one of the featured designers? If Kimberly C. Lyons, the designer behind KCL-IDESIGN, LLC (INTERIOR DESIGN STUDIO), comes to mind, you are correct. Trust me, nothing is like a feature that represents what you were born to do. So, I am jumping for joy, screaming my head off, and shouting Hallelujah!
As a designer, there is a lot of strategic planning involved in creating, designing, and styling rooms. Incorporating the elements and principles of design throughout spaces to make them aesthetically pleasing and bring pure happiness to the occupants takes knowledge and patience. Moreover, the function of each room is essential, and a client's vision should become a reality while showcasing their authentic, original style. Receiving an acknowledgment of my accomplishments with a feature is truly a blessing, and I am forever grateful! The bottom line is to bring people enjoyment and happiness in their newly styled interiors, which I was born to do.
