PAINT WITH PURPOSE: HALLWAY COLOR FOR ADJOINING ROOMS
/As a designer, I see a purpose in painting interiors, especially when choosing a hallway color that complements adjoining rooms.
A hallway like this isn't just a hallway—it connects to an opposite hallway, a dining room, a living room, a kitchen, a bedroom suite, and a guest bathroom.
It also complements the open foyer area. That means the paint color must look good from every angle and under every light.
Behind the scenes, I review the architectural floor plan, study sightlines, check undertones, and test how the color shifts next to neighboring spaces. What works in one room can feel completely wrong once it's connected to seven others.
As a designer and a professional painter, I understand why painting isn't a quick decision—it's a process. The goal is flow, balance, and a color that quietly supports the entire home.
The reveal is coming soon!
