IT IS COMING: VALENTINE'S DAY

I am in awe of how much I love Valentine's Day. Even before February rolls in, I focus on my favorite color, red. Red is powerful, bold, daring, sexy, and dramatic, creating a sense of happiness whenever it is in my presence. It can speak volumes in a room; whether a stand-alone color or another color is present for an accent, it will take centerstage every time.

However, before Valentine's Day, I styled my live greenery from last year (Christmas tree); yes, it is still alive and thriving. It is unbelievable because it has become part of my living space since I started styling it several years ago. Now, it is a permanent fixture; if it moves, there will be a void.

Moreover, this year, I went all out regarding roses because the more, the better. She is amazingly sexy and gets a standing ovation for being the focal point in my living room. Red in the center and pink on each end create a subtle contrast. Of course, the stylish sweater and scarf complete the outfit. I smile when I walk past this room or look over the balcony because I love red. As my favorite color, it always gives me butterflies.

Psst, red is my baby boy Ace's favorite color, too!
